Wallace Stover Lowery of Alton, Virginia passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at the age of 85.  He was born in Halifax County on February 14, 1937 to the late Herbert Green and Melissa Conner Lowery and was preceded in death by his wife, Jean Comer Lowery.

Wallace was in general construction and landscaping for 50 years.  He also was a member of the “no name” car club where he spent time with his friends and antique cars. He spent his past time enjoying the lake and boating.

He is survived by his daughters, Rhonda Wilmoth (Tim) and  Renee Chouinard (Ken); grandchildren, Cody and Hunter Chouinard; step granddaughter, Melanie Chappell (HL) and her children, Kaitlyn Green (Ryan) and Ashlyn Chappell; siblings, Sandra Blanks (Jimmy), Kathy McDowell and Danny Lowery (Lori); numerous nieces & nephews and special great nieces, Layla and Savannah Keaton.  In addition to his parents and his wife, he was preceded in death by siblings, Virginia Jones, Alvin Lowery, Brenda Gravitt and Hazel Conner.
