Reverend Delores P. Wooten was called to her heavenly home on November 24, 2022. She was born on May 22 to the late Clem and Agnes Batten of Carrollton, Virginia.  Rev. Wooten was married to the late William Wesley Wooten for 53 years before his passing.

Rev. Wooten was a life-long member of Campbell’s Chapel AME Church. Rev. Wooten leaves to cherish her memory, four loving children, Pastor Wesley I. Wooten (Audrey) of Hampton, Virginia; Vanessa M. Taylor (Victor) of Chesapeake, Virginia, Mona W. Lovett (Daniel) of Clemmons, North Carolina; and Alora N. Wooten (of the home) as well as eight grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, a sister Mable Taliaferro, and a brother Illinous Batten.
