Shirley Lucille Williams Crockett Jacobs, 87, born January 12, 1936, passed away on February 1, 2023. A lifelong resident of Tidewater, she graduated from Hampton High School in 1954. She retired as a New Accounts Manager from Bank of America in 1996 after 38 years.

Shirley is survived by her husband, Guy T. Jacobs; children, David W. Crockett, Rodney J. Crockett, Brian L. Crockett (Theresa) and Terry W. Crockett (Nancy); 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

The family will receive friends from 1-2:00 PM Thursday, February 8, 2023 at Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, by Rev. Barry Hobbs. Immediately following at 2:00 PM, Shirley’s life will be celebrated. Interment will be in Albert G. Horton Jr Memorial Veteran’s Cemetery at a later date.

The family wishes in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy take the form of contribution to the TPA Hearing Trust. Arrangements are by Berceuse Funeral and Cremation Traditions in Hampton, 757-825- 8070.
