Wrenn’s Mill refuse and recycling center reopens

The redesign included the repainting of trash bins to be color-coded. The brown bins are for residential yard waste.
The renovation included redesigning the parking lot to accommodate better traffic flow.
Isle of Wight County celebrated the reopening of its Wrenns Mill refuse and recycling center with a Jan. 25 ribbon-cutting ceremony. The site officially reopened to the public on Jan. 26 after what was originally estimated to be a six-month redesign was completed on budget and ahead of schedule.
