Carson Parke Ashburn, 67, passed away Saturday, February 25, 2023. He was the son of the late Parke Ashburn, Jr. 

He was in the first graduating class of Nansemond Suffolk Academy, 1974. 

Carson received his Agronomy degree from Paul D. Camp Community College in 1976. He was a member of the Virginia Peanut Growers Association and Western Branch Baptist Church. Farming was his life and he enjoyed eating seafood.

Left to cherish his memory is his mother, Charlene D. Ashburn and several cousins. 

A graveside service will be held Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at 2 PM at Western Branch Baptist Church Cemetery, 6952 Old Myrtle Rd. Suffolk, VA 23434 with Rev. Timothy Rawls officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the church cemetery fund. R.W. Baker & Co.
