Online bill payment will be unavailable in Isle of Wight County March 15-20 due to an upgrade to the county’s Munis accounting software.

According to Assistant County Administrator Don Robertson, there will be no system access, online or in-person, in the county’s inspections department, commissioner of the revenue’s office, treasurer’s office, public utilities billing office or zoning offices. Anyone needing to contact any of those departments should do so by phone during the five-day window.

The county’s central permitting office will also be unable to honor online inspections requests after 2:30 p.m. on March 15 until the system is restored on March 20. Inspections requests can still be called in using the county’s inspections hotline: 757-365-1666.

The county’s Munis system will be taken offline at 3 p.m. March 15 and should be restored by the afternoon on March 20.
