Dianne Pond, 69, of Windsor, VA passed away on Friday, April 28, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Jesse Carlise Johnson and Geneva Meade Johnson. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, George Daniel Pond. She is survived by her nieces, Jessica (Damon), Candice (Jordan), Miranda (Joseph), Jessie (Jon), Sarah (Brian), Beth (John), Kristie (Bill) and Amber (Dave); a nephew, Michael (Melissa); sisters, Julia Brooks (Eddie) and  Jerianne Epps (Wayne); sister in law, Betina Kusiak (John); brother in law, David Pond (Michelle); great nieces and nephews, Wyatt, Kennedy, Prestley, Jane, Freyja, Landon, Christian, Connor, Addison, Bella, Jamie, Peyton, Gabriel, Teddy, Ollie and Lily.

Mrs. Pond was an adventurer, go-getter, caregiver, and a lover of animals- especially her dogs Buddy and Sasha, and her horses. She spent many hours “spoiling” and loving them as if they were their children. Dianne began her trailblazing career early in the times of radio and graphic design. From there, her ambition developed into a lifelong career of tech marketing and design that will better enhance generations to follow. Dianne and her late husband George shared a sacred love story that led them through a lifetime of wonders and expeditions. From California and Alaska to Windsor, Virginia they shared a love of music and adventure that gripped their hearts and enabled their focus to be on the best things life has to offer. It later encouraged them to plant roots and take their lifetime of experiences to develop a land that they loved and turn it into Wildwood Farms.
