Suzzann Stanton Pittman, 76, of Smithfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 10, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late Leroy Dove and Jane Bowling. She is survived by her husband of 37 years, Jack W. Pittman, Jr; daughter, Mia B. Williams (Robert); sons, R. Wayne Farr and James S. Farr; grandchildren, Macie, Kendall and Nicholas (Mary); and a great granddaughter, Delilah. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Linda P. Cleaver; and a brother, W. Mark Stanton.

Suzzann worked as treasurer for the Town of Smithfield, she was past president of the VFW Auxiliary, and a past treasurer of the American Legion Auxiliary.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2023, 11 a.m. at Little’s Funeral Home, Smithfield. Burial will be held at a later date at Albert G. Horton Veterans Cemetery. The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.
