On Wednesday, June 7, Mrs. Edith Robertson, secretary at Isle of Wight Academy retired after 40 years. Staff, parents, students, and alumni showered Robertson with love and well wishes with a big send off in the Isle of Wight Academy parking lot.

“I started July 1983-July 2023. What I’ll miss the most is the love and the support of all the students and teachers. I always treated everyone like they were mine,” said Robertson.

Robertson’s son and daughter graduated in 2012 and 2015, “I know that we are a family school. I’ve always enjoyed getting up and going to work, it was never a drag. I know I’m going to miss helping everyone.”
