The 30th run of the Isle of Wight County Fair went off without a hitch, blessed by sunny skies and daytime highs in the upper 70s.
The event, which ran from Sept. 14-17, included the annual 4-H livestock show, carnival rides, food and craft vendors, a rodeo and a demolition derby, among other attractions.
The Smithfield Times was on-scene Saturday and Sunday to document the fun.
