As a current resident of Surry County, I am glad to see a homegrown, generational young man willing to take the leadership mantle for the Bacons Castle District seat on the Board of Supervisors. Kudos to Walter Hardy! 

I want you to know that he has my vote and should have the overwhelming votes of the citizens of the Bacon Castle District for his intellect, stability, drive and vision for our district and Surry County as a whole. In fact, I thank him for his service in the military, the U.S. Army. I thank him for not throwing out any code words recently’ as country folk, we all believe in the Second Amendment, we grew up with guns, our folks hunted, we just didn’t hunt people, if you know what I mean. We don’t believe in division; we believe in helping all people, young and old, Black, White and Brown. We focus on solutions, short term and long term, easy and difficult. We believe in a God; as my mom would say to her friend, when we all get to heaven, then what? Again, I thank Mr. Hardy for running,.I humbly ask all those in the Bacons Castle District to support him.
