Editor, The Smithfield Times:

The members of the Isle of Wight County Volunteer Rescue Squad Auxiliary would like to express their sincere appreciation to the many businesses in Smithfield and Carrollton that supported our recent gift certificate basket raffle fundraiser.

We are also very thankful for the many people in the community who made donations for raffle tickets. This project was very productive, raising $2,600.
