I am supporting write-in candidate Chris Torre for the Isle of Wight Board of Supervisors, District 1. 

I met Chris while working with other Smithfield residents who had concerns about the development of the Pierceville property and the Grange project. Chris’ expertise was invaluable. As a business owner who worked in commercial construction, Chris knew what was required from the developer and what the town was responsible for. He does not believe that taxpayer money should subsidize commercial development.

Chris Torre believes in transparency in government and will keep citizens’ interests at the forefront of all decisions. He is fiscally responsible, and I believe his expertise and experience managing budgets will be an asset at the county level. Chris knows that future growth in Smithfield and Isle of Wight County can only happen when we consider how these changes affect our schools, roads and emergency services.

When you write in “CHRIS TORRE” for Isle of Wight County Board of Supervisors, District 1, please make sure his name is spelled correctly.  Also, please fill in the oval on the ballot next to his name to make sure your vote is counted. These simple steps will ensure that Smithfield will be well represented on the Board of Supervisors.
