Other pastors have been invited to what the organizers intend to be an ecumenical service.

Rosario said the service will include a community Thanksgiving prayer, a message about Thanksgiving and special music with members of area choirs under the direction of Benn’s Director of Music Jean Harrell. Communion will also be offered.

The service is being held the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving, according to Rosario, to emphasize a week of thanksgiving and to serve families who will be traveling or have other plans for Thanksgiving Day and weekend.

Questions about the service can be directed to the Rev. Rosario at 757-867-4545. Anyone wishing to participate in the combined choir during the service is invited to contact Jean Harrell at 747-377-8856 or jharrell56@aol.com.
