Connie Chapman, from Isle of Wight Tourism, was the guest speaker at a recent meeting of the Smithfield Kiwanis Club. She provided a review of the many upcoming events in the town, with a highlight on the approaching holiday season and beyond.  Smithfield is a busy little town indeed and club members thoroughly enjoyed her presentation. Anyone interested in joining Kiwanis is welcome to attend meetings at 12:30 p.m. Thursdays at Smithfield Station. Enjoy fellowship and lunch and consider becoming part of an organization dedicated to serving the youth in the local community. The club generally hosts guest speakers on the second and third Thursdays of the month.
