Brian Fulton Jones, 64 of Smithfield, passed away on Sunday, November 12, 2023. 

He was the son of the late Fulton Jethro Jones and Edith Simpson Jones. He is survived by his daughter, Katie Jones Hunter (Jason); grandchildren, Keagan, Ean, Cameron, Ava and Jolie; sisters, Kathy Brock Suggs (Ralph), Sharon Jones Foster (Mike), and Beverly Jones Dooley (Bill); brother, Dennis Jones (DeDee); nieces and nephews, Melissa Barbee (Eric), Sara Brock, Leslie Pavlik, Crystal Wilcox (Tre), Brad Dooley (Amber), Lacey Lyle (Joe), Justin Brock (Jessica) and Oscar Jones; and several extended family members. He was also preceded in death by a brother, Travis Jones.

Brian grew up in the Community of Rescue, VA where he held his fondest memories. He loved antiques, classic cars, yard sales, classic rock and roll and history. He especially loved his grandchildren, playing trains and driving them around in his Dodge challenger. He never met a stranger and always had a joke to tell and a song to sing.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023, 6 p.m. at Rescue Friends Church. The family will receive friends at a reception following the service at the church. Online condolences may be registered at www.littlesfuneralhome.com.
