The Smithfield & Isle of Wight Tourism Department would like to recognize several organizations that helped ensure the annual Christmas parade tradition continued and that it was a holiday event success!

Thank you to Christian Outreach, Main Street Baptist Church, Isle of Wight Parks & Recreation Department, Town of Smithfield Parks & Recreation Department, Town of Smithfield Police Department, the Town of Smithfield Public Works Department and the town and county staff who volunteered to ensure the parade was safe, well populated with staff supervision and enjoyable for all. 

Thank you to Smithfield Town Manager Michael Stallings and the Isle of Wight County Administrator Randy Keaton for also volunteering! Special Thanks to our emcee, Jim Groves, and to the parade judges, Chris Reckling and Dominick Fink, and to Steve Stewart of The Smithfield Times for use of his offices for the judges.
