Two area students were recently honored by James Madison University,

Gabriel Palmer, of Carrollton, was named to the fall 2023 president’s List at Mississippi State University.

Lindsey Reon, of Carrollton, was named to the fall 2023 deans’ list.

Students on the president’s list achieved a 3.80 or better grade point average, based on a 4.0 scale and those on the deans’ list must have achieved a GPA between 3.5 and 3.79, while completing at least 12 semester hours of coursework with no incomplete grades or grades lower than a C.
