Isle of Wight County Schools recognizes a support staff member each quarter who has gone “Above and Beyond the Call of Duty” as its ABCD employee. At the Jan. 11 School Board meeting, the division recognized Tina Clifton, an administrative associate for the division’s instructional department. 

Clifton’s nomination highlighted her willingness to help out whenever and wherever she’s asked with a smile on her face and with the highest level of competency, dedication and flexibility. 

At the School Board’s Jan. 11 meeting, Clifton received a $50 Visa gift card from the Woman’s Club of Smithfield and a personalized wood plaque created in the Smithfield High School Maker Space.
