Eleven of the 17 Isle of Wight Academy students who attended the March 14 at the Association of Virginia Academies’ 2024 High School Forensic Meet at Brunswick Academy won awards.
Award-winners are as follows:
Varsity Division:
First Place: Erin Goodrich, after-dinner speech
Second Place:
- Kara Gale, serious oral interpretation
- Emily Days, serious poetry
- Logan St. Clair, sight reading
Third Place:
- Kate Holland, humorous poetry
- Ariel Hawkins, serious prose
Novice Division:
Second Place:
- Emma Faustini, serious oral interpretation
- Brooks Moore, serious prose
- Gabrielle Armstrong, storytelling
Third place:
