All of Hampton Roads, including Isle of Wight and Surry counties, is under a severe thunderstorm watch through 10 p.m. April 15.

According to the National Weather service, showers and thunderstorms are likely, mainly before 10 p.m., some of which could bring hail and damaging winds.

The chance of precipitation is currently at 20% but rises to 60% by the evening with west winds of 3 to 7 mph. Rainfall between a quarter and half an inch is possible.
