Francis Carl Bick (Frank) 76 of Smithfield, VA went to be with his Lord and Savior May 13, 2024, Born in Hardin, Illinois, he was the son of the late Henry and Bernice Bick.

He leaves to cherish his memory his wife of 22 years, Phyllis Jones Bick, one daughter, Frankie D. Riley (Dennis) of Illinois, 2 sons Carl Paul Bick deceased, Franklin Bick of Arkansas, one grandson, Tyler Bick, and one sister Anna Herrington of Illinois.

Frank was a jack of all trades and master of everything. There was nothing he couldn’t fix. That was his passion to make things work. He worked as an electrician in the nuclear world most of his life. He worked part-time at The Smithfield Times for the past three years. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War.

Frank had a very kind heart and soul. He was a friend to many. A private service will be held later in Sikeston, Missouri alongside his son Carl. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Mill Swamp Baptist Church. Family will receive friends at the home.
