Congratulations to The Smithfield Times, and especially to Stephen Faleski, for the many awards it recently won competing with other print news outlets in the state of Virginia! (“Smithfield Times wins 28 awards,” May 15)  

Having recently arrived here, I’ve found that this news outlet has taught me a lot about this community, supported and represented what Smithfield and environs have to offer, reported the news accurately and published every point of view in its opinion section. Keep the light shining!
