Narvie Frank Britt, Jr., 64 of Ivor, VA passed away on May 19, 2024. He was the only son of the late, Narvie Frank Britt, Sr. and Sarah Alma Britt. He is also preceded in death by his aunts and uncles, Gurnie Britt, Dempsey Britt, Junius Britt, Leah Atkinson, and Bernice Goodrich.

Frank served 46 years at the Ivor fire department in many capacities; lieutenant, captain, chief engineer, secretary, vice president, and currently as president. He also was a board member and past vice president of Southampton County Fire and Rescue Association, served on the Ivor Volunteer Rescue Squad from 1980-2012 and was captain of the squad from 1985-1989.

He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Fredia McClung Britt; aunts, Joyce Turner and Alice Oakes; and many cousins.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 6, 2024 from 6-7:30 PM at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home, Wakefield Chapel. In lieu of flowers, family requests memorial donations be made to Ivor Fire Department. Condolences may be registered at RWBakerFH.com.
