A Memorial Service for Sue Perry Plummer will be held at Christ Episcopal Church; 111 S. Church Street; Smithfield, VA 23430 on June 22 at 2:00 PM.  Family, friends and the community are invited to come celebrate Sue’s life together.  Sue was born in Booneville, Mississippi February 2, 1936. After becoming a military wife she spent much of it in Virginia. A banker by profession, Sue volunteered at various community organizations. Locally, she founded the Optimist Club of Isle of Wight, a club where she and her husband had been active in Norfolk. She belonged to the Woman’s Club of Smithfield, was on the Board of Sundays at Four, and a member of Christ Church. A light reception will be held following the service.
