Elaine M. Masters, age 85, passed away peacefully on Dec. 20 from a long battle with Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s. She is survived by her two children, Susan Richter and Steve Lipmanson, as well as her two grandchildren; Meagan and Bobby Richter.

In addition, Elaine also leaves behind her husband of 27 years, William Masters, of Poquoson, and his two children, Steve Masters and Laurie Stephenson.

Elaine retired after many dutiful years of working in civil service at Fort Monroe. When she wasn’t working, Elaine enjoyed anything having to do with surrounding herself with family and friends. She was full of life, love, and never met a stranger.

A small, private service will be held by family at the Hebrew National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Parkinson’s & Alzheimer’s foundation.
