The Jamestown-Scotland Ferry will operate at reduced capacity Tuesday and Thursday this week.

According to the Virginia Department of Transportation, only one ferry vessel will be in operation from 10:30 a.m. to noon on Nov. 29 and from 10 to 11:30 a.m. on Dec. 1.

Motorists should expect delays. VDOT advises ferry-goers to view the traffic queues on its camera feed, which show traffic half a mile from its Surry County and James City County boarding locations in real time, at https://tinyurl.com/2p9e329m.
