Five of the seven men charged in connection with the June 9, 2012 graduation party shooting death of TyQuan Johnson are expected to enter plea agreements.
As of Monday afternoon, four had already done so, and one more was expected to plead guilty Tuesday afternoon in Surry County Circuit Court.
Jarmal (Jamal) Brown was expected to plead guilty to shooting into an occupied dwelling. The remainder of his charges will not be prosecuted, said Special Prosecutor Wayne Farmer.
The men, from Surry and Sussex counties, were indicted in October for their involvement in a shooting that lead to the death of Sussex High School graduate TyQuan Johnson, 18. ...(Subscribe!)
