After its best season in a decade, the EMU Royals field hockey team had two standout players selected to the All-ODAC Second Team: Skylar Hedgepeth, of Smithfield, and Brandy Troutman, of Mountville, Pa.

Hedgepeth found herself back on the All-ODAC team after her performance this season. Leading EMU’s attack, she was an All-ODAC Third Team selection after the 2018 season.

The former EMU Freshman of the Year played an integral role for the Royals on the offensive end, accumulating four total goals and two assists on the year for a total of 10 points. Hedgepeth notched a shot percentage of .364 and a shot on goal percentage of .909, both career-bests.
