Jazz, gospel concert Friday
Liberty Baptist Church’s popular jazz/gospel combo Higher Ground will make its third appearance at the Gazebo Stage Friday at 8 p.m.
The band, sponsored by Liberty Baptist, emphasizes jazz music and throws in an occasional gospel song.
Next week, the Summer Concert Series explores new territory as local rap music enthusiasts bring their Hip Hop genre to the Gazebo. This will be the first Hip Hop performance ever in the series and is aimed at broadening the audience for future concerts.
