Packers youth football teams win three of four

The Smithfield Packers Youth Sports teams traveled to Townebank Athletic Field in Newport News over the weekend for a 6-and-under contest with the Back River Bulls Youth Sports Association and 8U/10U/12U contests against the East End Vikings.
While the 6U squad fell 20-6, the 8U, 10U and 12U squads were victorious by scores of 12-0, 12-0 and 25-0, respectively. The 8U win cemented the Packers’ status as the number one team in their division.
The Packers will return home for Week 5 play at the Luter Sports Complex this weekend, hosting the Tri-Citi Hurricanes.
